When I was very young, before I knew that I needed glasses, I was looking at the candles and Christmas decorations in the darkened church sanctuary. Every light was was surrounded by a halo... And also, what do the words "round yon virgin" and "the cattle are lowing mean"...? It was a mystery. This song's been 12 years in the making, and I hope its return to the innocence and imagination of a child is a welcoming journey for you.
