Far into the future, a young man is plowing the fields when he is called to war. This war has been going on for a long time, and the leader of the opposing force is already his sworn enemy. A kind sorcerer gives the young man some advice before they embark on the journey together across the ocean to meet the adversary army at their own doorstep.

Years pass as the battle is waged. The young man becomes stronger and wiser, and just when the endgame is near, he experiences a vision, giving him renewed clarity, purpose, power. Back into the fight he goes, victorious, invincible against the army. He then receives word that his family back home has just been killed. He must still fight and vanquish his sworn enemy. There is no turning back, no time for weakness...

After he does, he wonders aloud, "Now what? I am far from home, I have no family, and the war is over. Now what?"
